How often should i wet wash my Lab?

Labs have a natural oily top coat, like human hair!

These oils are designed to protect their skin and

undercoat from the elements.

Any chemicals that are used during the wash will 

strip away the natural oils, specialist recommendations

are that Labradors are only wet washed a maximum of 

once per month.

What products should i use when washing?

At LabradorableCo, we reccomend natural shampoos,

include products with a base of coconut oil that

provides the coat with a layer of preventative lubrications

duplicating the natural oils on their coat.

How can i make bath time enjoyable?

Bath time can be stressful for Labradors, we suggest 

providing positive reinforcement training with food.
A simple way of doing this is luring them to their bathing 

spot with their favourite snack (or two) and taking their

mind off the mental discomfort they experience.

 

Someone told me i shouldnt wash my Lab?

Its important to note,  frequency should be no more

 regular than once a month.

Whilst they love a puddle and whatever else

they rolled in today.

Its important that hygiene is maintained to prevent skin irritations,

hotspots and trapped undercoat..

 

How effective is a wet wash vs brushing?

An effective wet wash is truly what removes all
